Motorcycle GO Ralph go!
THIS BOOK HAS A GOOD ENOUGH STORY & IT DOES END WELL BUT I THINK THE STORY SHOULD HAVE HAD VISUAL PICTURES SOMETHING TO ADD TO THE TALE OF RALPH & HIS MOTORCYCLE-ING! I REALLY DONT ENJOY BOOKS WITH
OUT PICTURES TO HELP HOLD ON TO A YOUNG KIDS ATTENTION!
I ALSO DONT LIKE BOOKS THAT JUST GO ON & ON WITH PRINT THATS JUST TOO SMALL FOR YOUNG READERS TO KEEP THEIR PLACE EASILY! IT MAKES YOUR EYES TIRED & MAKES YOU REACH FOR ANOTHER BOOK INSTEAD!
ALL GOOD STORY BOOKS WOULD BECOME GREAT STORY BOOKS IF THEY HAD THE ARTISTRY TO GO THAT EXTRA MILE!

Motorcycle Loved it
When I was little (40+ now) I read this book. One of the first books i ever read. I still remember how much i loved this story, series of stories. I was 7, or 8 at the time. Was very wrapped up in the book. A very fond childhood memory. I would relate the story to a childhood friend as my own story, with my own embellishments. When i remember that i remember how, like most kids, i was just plain silly. I recommend this as reading for any young reader!

Motorcycle Review of "Runaway Ralph" By Nathan Smith 3rd Grade
The story explains how Ralph runs away because he does not want to be bossed around by his mother or uncle Lester. Ralph lives at the Mountain View Inn. He must get down the steps so he can run away. After he runs away he rides his motorcycle to happy acres where he has to get passed a dog named Sam. After passing the dog he gets caught by a boy name Garf. Ralph gets put into a cage and must convince Garf to let him go. Ralph realizes that he misses and needs his family. Ralph escapes from the cage and convices Garf to take him back home.

The first challenge of Ralph is to get down the stairs at the Mountain View Inn. Ralph slides down the side ramp into prikley bushes. His motorcycle gets stuck with his crash helmet and Ralph lands on the ground.

Next, Ralph rides away on his motorcycle. He find a place called Happy Acres camp and stops to get his favorite meal peanut butter and jelly sandwitches. He meets Sam the dog who does not let Ralph inside Happy Acres Camp. So Ralph has to get by Sam by driving his Motorcycle into the bushes. Ralph hides in a gopher hole and Sam finnally gives up when it is lunch time. Ralph escapes from the gopher hole and goes into a bamboo clump to stay. Some cats find him and try to catch him. A boy named Garf catches him with a butterfly net before he is eaten by the cats.

Garf puts Ralph into a cage, Ralph must escape from the cage and get back home. Ra[ph is not having any fun and is uncomfortable in the cage. He misses his mom and uncle Lester alot. Ralph gets very hungry. Ralph makes friends with a hamster and they talk. Garf feeds Ralph nuts and seeds everyday but Ralph is still unhappy and lonley because Garf never lets Ralph out of the cage.

In conclusion, "Runaway Ralph" by Beverly Cleary tells a story about Ralph the mouse and his difficult journey away from home and back again. Ralph meets new friends and has many adventures but he misses his home and family very much and decides to return to them. My opinion of this book by Beverly Cleary is that it was very exciting and enjoyable to read much like her other book which I have read, The Mouse on a Motorcyle. I even enjoyed the movie. I plan on reading her other Newbery winner book Dear Mr. Henshaw because I saw the play in second grade and I liked it too.

Motorcycle Runaway Ralph
This was just as good as the first one. Just as funny, just as smart, just as realistic, and the action didn't go away at all. I still love these books!

Motorcycle Runaway Ralph
Runaway Ralph by Beverly Cleary

This is a book called Runaway Ralph just reading this book it brought me right into the book. Ralph is a mouse who got a little toy motorcycle. All of his cousins, brothers, sisters, and his aunt and uncle all were jealous of him. Ralph soon got quickly annoyed and decided to leave. He left for Happy Acers summer camp. While he was there he ran into many of problems. First he ran into a group of hungry cats. Then he ran into an extremely strict watch dog and a very naughty kid names Garf. Sorry for Ralph would he ever get out o trouble. The story soon turned dramatic. Ralph is trying to survive on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He then heads back home. His family missed him a whole lot.

There is a thing about the characters. They just bring the story to life. Ralph who is a very sweet field mouse has to go through a lot when he heads for a camp called Happy Acres Summer camp. One thing for sure is that he gets annoyed very easily. Hers an example in the story Ralph gets a new toy motorcycle and all of his cousins, brother, sisters, and his Aunt and Uncle all get jealous. He got so annoyed and he just left not telling anyone. Garf is just a SEEMINGLY harmless person until you get to know him that is. He isn't very nice. He is a bully who is always picking on someone in the book.

The theme of the book really matches the characters. The theme really describes how Ralph gets into all of his problems. Ralph who leaves his house because of a jealous family gets stuck into trouble. Ralph runs into hungry cats who totally try to hurt him bad enough to eat him. Then when he is almost to the camp grounds he gets barked at and clawed at from a strict watch dog.

The setting of the book takes place at Happy Acres Summer Camp. At first Ralph didn't think that is was so bad until Garf got on to his nerves. Garf for a little bit of the time was after Ralph. Ralf soon stayed outside for a coupe nights. I mainly liked this book because of the wilderness back ground.

The end of the book is what I thought was the best part. The end part of the book is where Ralph decides that he wants to go home. One thing for sure is that he couldn't live on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. He soon found out that his family missed him. He wanted to get home quickly but he knew that his motorcycle would not get him home in time of night fall. Garf volunteered to take him home and Ralph got very excited.
When he got home his whole family told him how much they were sorry. Ralph was very happy that he was home.Everything was quickly back to normal. If you really like books with a happy ending this book is a good book for you.
