Customer comments on this selection.
Helps take the mystery out of fuel injection I like this book, yet I'm a motorcycle fanatic and an electronic engineer. It's takes some effort to get to the core of EFI, which is the volumetric efficiency table. It explains speed-density EFI control, alpha-n EFI control, and mass air flow EFI control. The book discusses the trade offs between the three in regards to motorcycle applications. You won't get that in a automotive EFI book.
A worthy effort, but not quite enough. It's difficult to see quite who this book is aimed at. It is too dry and complex a subject for casual readers, and this volume lacks sufficient depth and clarity for serious students and professionals. As others have stated, much of the content is out of date. Needs a re-write.
OK as an introduction, not much use otherwise. The content is somewhat dated, so of limited use to anyone seeking detailed information. The author struggles to explain concepts in parts, suggesting that he has been less than meticulous in his research. There are better books available.
nice book This book is nice done, good explications for the person that is mechanicaly inlclined.
I recomend this book to anyone that loves motorcycles.

Motorcycle Fuel Injection Handbook OK Primer, BMW information is dated dealing with the Motronic systems and no updates for the BMSC or BMSK. As a BASIC overview it was informative.
