Motorcycle The best so far
Yes, the book can be a little confusing at times. Yes, we lost the trail here and there, usually urban areas. Mostly we did not get lost and found the route easily. It was great fun.

The book truly contributes to a great experience and we had one. I recommend going Chicago to LA (so does Bobby Troup) as the best way to use it. But it provides an East bound guide as well. Overall, I'd recommend this guide to anyone and we will use it again next time we're out for the adventure. If you want to understand the road better, I suggest finding some old maps. That also helped put things into better perspective.

We owe Mr. McClanahan a debt of gratitude for his effort to preserve the road and its memory and place in history. The time and research is impressive and in depth. Thanks, Jerry.

Motorcycle EZ Guide, EZ Ride
This guide worked great. If you email the author (email address in the guide), he'll send you updates.

Came with detailed maps, turn-by-turn directions for both eastbound and westbound driving, and points of interest. Guide has a spiral binding and just the right size for use on a road trip.

This guide made for a great, unforgettable, 3 week road trip during May/June 2008.

Thanks Jerry!

Motorcycle Great Book!!
We could not have followed route 66 without this book. Our vacation was absolutely wonderful and we stayed on the original route most of the way.

Motorcycle Get Your Kicks on Rt. 66
Lots of information on what to see an do along Route 66. Maps are a little hard to follow.

Motorcycle Route 66 book purchased
I am planning a Route 66 trip - back to the 50"s and 60"s.

Thanks for the book and the info in the book

Jayne
