 Brilliant
Wow, what a read and what an adventure these guys had. Set in the mid 90's it still translates to today (if you remember there were no cell / satellite phones, GPS Navigation etc available)
With all road trip books I read, it tends to shrink or speed up at the end as if they are rushing to get to the finish, hence only 4 stars. I recommend you read the glossary first, at the back, to get a handle on their "buzz" words, whilst reading the book I started using "blend" in my daily converstation and no-one knew what I was talking about.(no real change there then anyway)

I'm only half way through, but am enjoying it. The writing style & phrases would be a lot easier to follow for someone from England, but I am getting used to them & manage. It does a good job of conveying the "feel" of the ride. I would have liked to have seen more photos & maps. Moderately easy to read & follow (again because of the British prose), but I am enjoying it, nonetheless. I wish I could find out why they had so many tire punctures. I bought it as research for doing a similar trip & it has been very helpful. Thank you.
 Fantastic account of the most amazing ride ever
I can't say enough great things about this book. I've read dozens of motorcycle trip books (nearly every one I can find, including one by the wife of the main protagonist in this book) and I can say that while I enjoy them all, this one stand head and shoulders above the rest.
As a yankee, I had to get used to the English phrases (result!), but that only took a moment, and I was quickly laughing out loud every chapter. My only regret about this book is that I am now extremely green with envy.
