Route 66 is quite possibly the most famous highway in the world. Route 66 was originally built for travel from town to town and was intentionally a winding road, a pleasure to ride a motorcycle on. Route 66, in it's early days, ran from Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica Beach, California twisting and turning through many towns along the way before ending. It stretched 2448 miles at that time.

Today route 66 has been replaced by interstates and nature in some places, but about 80% of the original roads of route 66 can still be found to ride your motorcycle on. Arizona has about 160 miles of scenic route 66 and California about 150 miles of route 66 to ride your motorcycle on.
